Blackpool: Celebrating 100 Years of Dance is a photographic exhibition by Alexander Rowan showcasing over a decade of his works as freelance photographer at the Blackpool Dance Festival in England.

The collection is highlighted by artworks showcasing the Empress Ballroom of the Winter Gardens - one of the most iconic and storied venues in the history of ballroom dancing.

But the heart and soul of the collection are the dancer’s who have dared to dream, and dreamed to dance on this hallowed floor, The exhibition aim’s to celebrate their lives, stories, and legacies on the dance floor.

The virtual exhibition will be accessible May 15th - June 21st and select works from the collection will be on display in person at in the festival in partnership with DanceShopper May 16th-29th, 2026
