Prints & Editions

Each photograph by A Rowan Gallery is produced as a carefully considered, limited work intended to be destinguished & original art.

Rather than offering unlimited variations, every edition is defined by materials, scale, and presentation chosen to best serve the image itself.

This approach ensures consistency, preserves rarity, and allows collectors to acquire work that is intentional, archival, and enduring.

Limited Edition Archival Prints

Archival pigment prints are the primary expression of each work, and are printed using museum-grade inks on 100% cotton rag paper. All editions are designed for longevity and tonal depth, preserving subtle color, texture, and detail.

All limited editional archival prints are:

  • Signed and numbered by the artist

  • Embossed with the ‘A Rowan Gallery’ mark

  • Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity

Edition size:

Each image is limited to a fixed number of prints across all sizes combined.

Available sizes:

Unless specified otherwise artworks are represented in Small (20-24”), Medium (30-36”), Large (48-60”), and occasionally Extra Large (72-96") formats are offered depending on the image resolution, with dimensions selected to maintain the integrity of the composition.

Artist-Selected special Editions

Select works are also released separately as special editions—standalone presentations chosen specifically for certain images.

These may include materials such as aluminum, acrylic, or other contemporary surfaces when the medium enhances the visual or conceptual impact of the work.

  • Produced in a single size and material

  • Extremely limited editions

  • Signed and numbered

Object editions are released sparingly and are considered distinct works, not alternate versions of the archival print.

Availability varies by image.

Framing & Presentation

Each work includes a recommended presentation based on the artist’s intent, whether floated, matted, or framed.

Framing is offered as an optional service using gallery-grade materials and conservation standards.

Custom framing or alternate presentation options may be considered for private or institutional collections upon inquiry.

Please contact us for framing recommendations, alternate presentation or print medium options, and white glove services.

Studio & Open Editions (Select Works)

A small selection of works may be available as studio or open editions, offered as an accessible entry point for collectors.

These prints are not part of the limited edition series and are clearly designated as such.

Care & Longevity

All prints are produced using archival processes designed for decades of display when properly cared for.

Collectors will receive guidance on handling, framing, and environmental considerations to ensure the longevity of their artwork.

Inquiries & Acquisitions

Art with Purpose

A Rowan Gallery is committed to creating work that not only celebrate the natural heritage of our planet, but actively contributes to its protection.

As part of an ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility—and with the intention of pursuing Certified B Corporation status—each limited edition archival print is directly associated with an organization whose mission aligns with the subject, geography, or values of the work.

A portion of proceeds from every archival print supports that organization.

This structure allows each artwork to function as both a collectible object and a measurable act of impact.

Our Impact Model

Rather than supporting a single umbrella cause, A Rowan Gallery assigns specific charitable partners to individual works or series, creating a transparent and traceable connection between art and action.

Examples may include:

  • Conservation and land-preservation organizations, such as the National Trust of Scotland.

  • Wildlife protection and rehabilitation groups, such as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

  • Environmental protection initiatives, such as Jungle Keepers.

  • Cultural or community-based nonprofits, such as the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.

The selected partner for each work is identified
at the time of acquisition.

How Contributions Are Structured

For each limited edition archival print sold:

  • A defined portion of proceeds is allocated to the designated partner organization

  • Contributions are made directly by the gallery.

  • Donations are tracked and documented internally to ensure accountability

This approach supports long-term partnerships while maintaining flexibility to align future works with evolving initiatives.

Transparency & Accountability

Charitable associations and contribution structures are disclosed at the artwork level and reflected in accompanying documentation.

As part of the gallery’s broader impact strategy, this model is designed to evolve alongside formal B Impact Assessment benchmarks, with an emphasis on transparency, ethical sourcing, and responsible business practices.
